Dear friends

I would like to share a new initiative that I am working on. With assistance from TEMA, an organization for our first responders, our everyday heroes, I am heading up an initiative to provide quilts for our Canadian first responders that are living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Being able to wrap up in a quilt made with love by someone you may never know , and to know that people care about you and what you have been through can be magnanimous. There is opportunity to become involved as a quilter, long arm owner, or for anyone who would like to submit names of heroes that you know would benefit from this. There is also a need for donations of quilt supplies, blocks, batting, thread, and funds for postage.
